Hello! I'm Sika, a 17 year old guy who does graphic design and video editing.
I went online all the way back in 2019, as a Gacha Life video editor. Making animation memes and animation tests using Live 2D Cubism and later on Moho Pro
I continued making animation memes then found after effects. Which was way better and more professional than the app I was using on my phone (Alight Motion/CapCut). So I watched some tutorials about how to use it for my purpose : Animation Memes
So I found one tutorial that really worked for me, which was showing a "particle" type of effect behind a character
which I used on my first after effects meme.
As the time passed I got better up to the point where I didn't want to make memes anymore… but a little before that back in 2021 I stumbled upon a video that showed a really cool version of windows… It was made by Avdan. I remember thinking it was real then rushed to look everywhere online to see if that version was available to download. All I found was shady links on shady websites. That's when I learned what concepts were.
I did not know about the existence of UI designing apps back then so when I took a shot at designing UIs I first used the program I used to make body sheets PSDs of my gacha characters (Firealpaca).
But then later on I got recomended to use Figma, which is one of those UI designing softwares.
I eventually started using it and gotten better, while my gacha content started slowing down and not interesting me that much…
